On June 6, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Moscow between the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the President of the Russian Federation.

The Memorandum provides for the establishment and development of cooperation between the Parties in such areas as conducting scientific research in the field of formation and implementation of legal policies of states, improving national legislation, legislative and law enforcement activities, carrying out legal expertise of law drafts, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of scientific monitoring of legislation, law enforcement activities, assessing the effectiveness of the impact of adopted and existing legislative acts on the processes of socio-economic, socio-political development.
