On June 7, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Moscow between the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Institute of Socio-Political Research.

The Memorandum provides for the establishment and development of cooperation between the Parties in such areas as the development of a program for advanced training of researchers, their participation in the implementation of scientific programs, joint scientific research, exchange of experience on problems of academic management and the development of information technologies for scientific research, conducting joint research projects, preparation and publication of joint works, provision of mutual scientific and methodological assistance on the development and application of modern information technologies that provide support for scientific research.
