June 6 at the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy (ILLP) a meeting was held with Anna Arkhipova, associate professor of the Research Center for Private Law under the President of the Russian Federation (RCPL).
A.Arkhipova emphasized that the RCPL is interested in developing a partnership with the ILLP. In order to establish and further strengthen mutual scientific and academic ties with ILLP A.Arkhipova proposed the following measures for joint implementation:
– signing a bilateral memorandum to establish cooperation, which will determine the procedure for interaction between the Parties in the framework of scientific research and events on current issues of private law;
– holding a joint conference on the topic “Private law of Russia and Uzbekistan: dialogue of legal systems” (in the fall of this year, in Tashkent) to discuss fundamental issues of private law of the two countries.
