On February 23 this year the Director of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. Rakhmankulov met with the Head of the Project “Promoting the rule of law in Central Asia” of the German Society for International Cooperation Christoph Kopecky.
During the meeting an exchange of views took place on promising areas for further development of cooperation between the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy and the German Society for International Cooperation.
In particular, the parties discussed the possibilities of developing and implementing a set of joint measures in connection with the drafting of the new version of the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other normative legal acts aimed at improving civil legislation, including with the participation of the German Society for International Cooperation.
As a result of the meeting the parties agreed to adopt and implement a joint plan of further actions, including the above-mentioned issues.
