On 21 August this year, with the support of the Good Governance Programme of the German Society for International Cooperation, an Uzbek delegation led by K. Aripov, Head of Sector, held a meeting in Warsaw with Michał Olszewski, former Deputy Mayor of Warsaw, now Chairman of the Board of the Association of Metropolises of Warsaw.

During the meeting, the expert spoke in detail about the problems of administrative reform, decentralisation of public administration and the creation of a strategic planning system in Poland.

At the end of the meeting, the expert pointed out the importance of carrying out the above-mentioned works taking into account international standards, best foreign practices, as well as historical, cultural, geographical and socio-economic peculiarities of the country.
