On June 7, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Moscow between the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin.

The Memorandum provides for the establishment and development of cooperation between the Parties in such areas as conducting scientific research in the field of formation and implementation of legal policies of states and improving national legislation, legislative and law enforcement activities, exchange of experience in the field of monitoring legislation, law enforcement activities, assessing the effectiveness of the impact of adopted and current legislative acts on the processes of socio-economic, socio-political development.
