On June 28 this year representatives of the Institute headed by Deputy Director V.Ergashev held a meeting with the Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Office in the Republic of Uzbekistan Ali Riza Tezсan.
During the meeting the sides considered issues related to the Institute’s work on practical implementation of constitutional innovations in the country.
The sides exchanged views on improving legislative and methodological foundations for creating a system of strategic planning and decentralisation of state administration in the country.
The sides discussed the issues of organising a working visit of Uzbek delegation to Turkey in August this year to study the best Turkish experience in the field of creating a system of strategic planning and decentralisation of public administration.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to establish further co-operation between ILLP and TIKA on issues of mutual interest.
