On 2 July, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the President (Matej Azzetto) and the Secretary General (Sebastian Nerad) of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Slovenia.
During the meeting the sides discussed topical issues of the application of the principle of the direct effect of the Constitution, the assessment of the legal consequences of decisions adopted by the Constitutional Court and the constitutionality of international treaties.
The parties stressed the necessity of further exchange of experience in the field of constitutional justice in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Slovenia.
