On July 15 this year in Birmingham (Great Britain) the delegation of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by Director M.Rakhmankulov met with representatives of the University of Birmingham.
During the meeting the British side was informed about the ongoing democratic transformations in Uzbekistan. The University representatives stressed the importance of ensuring the scientific validity of the reforms carried out in the country. As a result of the meeting agreements were reached to establish cooperation between the ILLP and the University of Birmingham (in particular, the School of Public Administration) in the field of organising joint research, scientific, practical and educational activities in the areas of legal policy, public administration and strategic planning.
