On May 21 this year the chief researcher of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy professor G. Malikova took part in the international round table organised by Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme: “Restrictions on public service. Problems and prospects”.
During the event topical issues of improvement of legislation on prevention of corruption in the public service and legal regulation of civil servants’ behaviour, international experience in the application of the institution of “impeccable reputation” when entering the public service, problems of using cryptocurrencies in corruption schemes were discussed.
At the event professor G. Malikova made a report on improving the legal framework for combating corruption in the public service in Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the round table, it is planned to publish a collection of recommendations of the participants of the event.
