Today, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with students from the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, which was an important step towards strengthening the integration of science and education. The event was also attended by young researchers and doctoral students from the Institute, who discussed issues of ensuring continuity in the field of scientific research.

Deputy Director of the Institute V.Ergashev gave participants a detailed overview of the institution’s role in providing scientific and methodological support for legal reforms in the country, its activities in reviewing draft legislation, and the Institute’s international scientific ties. During the dialogue, particular emphasis was placed on strategic areas of research, in particular plans to develop relevant vectors for the development of legal policy.

The meeting discussed issues related to the active involvement of gifted students in the Institute’s research processes, including the launch of systematic internship programs. Attention was drawn to the fact that this approach contributes to the effective combination of theoretical training of young professionals with their direct participation in the research process.

The students received comprehensive answers to their questions concerning the Institute’s working methods, the methodology for studying contemporary legal issues, and the requirements for research staff. After the discussion, the guests were given a tour, during which they were shown how the research departments work, the information and analytical resources available, and the modern facilities created for researchers.

At the end of the event, guests were presented with the latest editions of legal literature, scientific collections and popular science brochures prepared by the Institute. An agreement was reached to hold such meetings on a regular basis, aimed at developing systematic bilateral cooperation and increasing the intellectual potential of young professionals.
