On August 25, 2026, a meeting was held at the ILLP with representatives from the Centre for Social Systems Innovation at Kobe University of Japan.
During the dialogue, the parties thoroughly discussed promising directions for the development of mutual cooperation.
Following the event, which took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two institutions.
After the meeting, an international academic and practical seminar was also organised with the participation of Japanese experts, focusing on intellectual property law and the legal aspects of accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
The event featured an in-depth analysis of topical issues such as the development of the intellectual property system in the era of generative artificial intelligence, ensuring a balance between copyright protection and innovation, and the legal aspects of accession to the WTO.
The seminar, based on a mutual exchange of experience, was rich in lively discussions and proved to be highly fruitful.
