On February 26-27, in Tashkent, the head of the ILLP sector, professor B.Ismailov, took part in training programmes for civil society organizations organized by GIZ in conjunction with the Anti-Corruption Agency as part of the project “Improving public administration in Uzbekistan: Inclusive Prevention of Corruption.”
On the first day of the event, participants discussed Uzbekistan’s draft anti-corruption strategy, the country’s results in the Corruption Perceptions Index, and recommendations based on the assessment of the National Integrity System.
The second day of training was devoted to issues of conflict of interest management. Participants studied international standards, analyzed national legislation and worked through practical scenarios for strengthening integrity mechanisms.
At the end of the event, participants emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of civil society in ensuring transparency and preventing corruption.
