On April 14, 2026, in Tashkent, representatives of the ILLP took part in a “round-table” discussion organized by the International Organization for Migration in Uzbekistan (IOM) to discuss the progress of the joint ILLP–IOM project “Integrated Assessment of Demographic and Migration Processes to Support Employment and Sustainable Strategic Development of Uzbekistan”.
The roundtable brought together members of the project’s coordination working group, including representatives from the ILLP, the National Statistics Committee, the Migration Agency, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction and IOM.
During the “round-table”, participants reviewed the results achieved so far and discussed the next steps for completing the project.
IOM international experts Vivianne van der Vorst and Vittorio Bruni, who support the development of the Demographic Atlas and the implementation of MTM in Uzbekistan, also attended the event. They presented updates and responded to feedback from national partners.
