On May 14 of this year, the ILLP hosted a theoretical seminar attended by professor A.Yusupov, chair of the Higher attestation commission under the Ministry of higher education, science and innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

The event was attended by research staff, PhD students and independent candidates from the ILLP.

The seminar focused on topical issues concerning the development of scientific and research activities, the improvement of mechanisms for training highly qualified scientific personnel, and the modernisation of the state scientific attestation system.

During the event professor A.Yusupov discussed in detail the role of the modern scientific attestation system in ensuring the quality of scientific research, the key requirements for doctoral theses, and the priority areas for the development of domestic science in the context of ongoing institutional reforms.

Particular attention was paid to issues concerning the enhancement of the effectiveness of research activities, the development of publication output by domestic scientists, the expansion of cooperation between scientific and educational organisations, and the improvement of the system for training highly qualified scientific and academic staff.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants received detailed answers to questions relating to accreditation procedures, scientific publications and the activities of scientific councils.
