In order to improve the economic knowledge of the scientific staff, on January 27 this year the Institute held another theoretical seminar with the participation of a well-known economist Bakhodur Eshonov.
The event was devoted to an exchange of views on the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan’s economic development. In particular, the role of the state in regulating economic processes was discussed. The factors contributing to and hindering economic growth were analysed. The prospects of the republic’s interaction with such international organisations as the WTO and the EAEU were considered.
At the end of the seminar the participants agreed on the importance of continuous improvement of legislation in order to ensure sustainable development of the national economy.
In general, this event allowed the Institute’s scientific staff to acquire new knowledge in the economic sphere and to find answers to questions of interest.
