On 23 April this year, the ILLP organized an academic seminar on the topic “Prospects for the development of the financial technology sector”, attended by U.Khoshimov, Head of Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the event, the expert explained the role and significance of financial technologies in the economy in the context of digital transformation. He provided detailed information on current development trends and promising directions for the sector’s development in the context of the introduction of innovative solutions and changes in the global financial market.
The seminar also discussed the prospects for the development of financial technologies in Uzbekistan. In particular, it was noted that the country plans to develop a strategy for the development of financial technologies up to 2030, attract foreign investment into start-up projects and train highly qualified national personnel in this field.
At the conclusion of the event, researchers from the ILLP received answers to their questions.
