On April 20-24 of this year, in Ankara, chief research fellow of the ILLP, Sh.Sobirov, as part of the Uzbek delegation, took part in a study visit aimed at learning Turkish experience in migration management and the regulation of labour mobility. The visit was organized with the support of the country offices of the International Organization for Migration in Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

During the visit, meetings and site visits were arranged with Turkish institutions engaged in various aspects of migration, with the purpose of familiarizing participants with their activities in migration management, regulation of labour mobility, migrant registration, and the digitalization of migration processes.

In particular, the Uzbek delegation was introduced to the activities of the Migration Management Authority, the General Directorate of International Labour Force of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Turkish Employment Agency, the Vocational Qualifications Authority, the Turkish Red Crescent, and other relevant institutions.

Overall, the participation of the ILLP representative in the study visit contributed to a deeper understanding of contemporary aspects of migration policy and helped identify the prospects for further research and analytical work in this field.
