On May 27, the ILLP hosted a meeting with a Japanese delegation consisting of representatives from leading Japanese scientific and educational institutions.
During the meeting, the Japanese delegation was briefed on the ILLP’s main areas of activity and the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan regarding constitutional development, the decentralization of public administration, and the improvement of civil legislation.
The guests from Japan were particularly informed about the progress of preparing the new edition of the Civil Code of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek side’s approaches to regulating civil legal relations.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop their cooperation.
