On April 30 of this year in Tashkent, representatives of the ILLP, namely Deputy Director V.Ergashev, Head of Sector K.Aripova and Senior Research Fellow G.Malikova, took part in a meeting of the Working Group on the Rule of Law and Governance of the Country Platform for Uzbekistan. This platform serves as a mechanism aimed at coordinating the activities of international development partners and ensuring their interaction with the ministries and agencies involved in the implementation of joint projects.
During the event, the main focus was on strengthening coordination and dialogue on issues of decentralization and regional development.
Modern approaches to the distribution of powers, practical steps to advance the regional public administration system, and key elements of the draft decentralization concept were also discussed.
The event reaffirmed the importance of cooperation between government agencies and international development partners in ensuring effective governance and sustainable regional development.
